Kway Teow whatttt? Kungfu? I know 'kungfu' is associated with tough guys like Bruce Lee or Jackie Chan. But with slippery, gooey, flat noodles, the 'kway teow' . . . I don't know. So last evening out to dinner with the family, I ordered myself 'kway teow kungfu'.
The kway teow noodles was first fried with eggs becoming sort of like a cake. Then it was chopped up into biteable pieces and fried with the usual oyster sauce, mixed veggies and the like. Hmmm . . the taste was not that bad, though I really did not like too much starch in the sauce. As to why it was called "Kway Teow Kungfu", I leave it to your imagination. Try it next time.
