TO LOOSE OR NOT TO

"You are OVER weight!" declared the young lady doctor bluntly when I went for my quarterly check-up. But then, I do tai-chi thrice weekly, doc, said I. "Not vigorous enough! You have to watch your diet and do some aerobics," she added also not so gently.
So it was, with a very reluctant heart I followed my sister to her "Lady Like Gym". Today is my first day. After registering as a member, I went on the tread-mill with a gung-ho zeal to really loose some weight. Well, after about ten minutes, that was it! I consoled myself saying that on the first day I shouldn't strain myself too much. Then I tried all the other machines just to get acquainted. I remember many, many years ago I bought the stationary exercise bicycle, placed it before the TV set so that I'll be motivated to exercise. But guess what, not long after, the bicycle metamorphosed into a towel rack! Maybe I'll do better this time. God, please help me . .

Does it help when the GYM is on the first floor and the yummy CAKE HOUSE is at the ground floor? Temptation . . . temptation . . .

YES!!! I see what you mean! It's funny uh, how many of us bought a treadmill just to hang our clothes. It's a nice wardrobe I guess. But be patient, have faith, and visulaize your goals. in a few months you won't even remember those hard memories. take care!
