The raising of the National Flag and the singing of the National Anthem signified the start of the morning's program.
I was attracted to these young girls with their enthusiastic spirit to participate in the parade. 
And also these young ones showing off on their bikes and mini trishaws, led by their teacher.

Oh you young ones, keep the spirit of 'merdeka' burning - not free from colonisation because that's gone and past. But free yourself from negative attitudes and strive to be a better person, the pride of your family, community and country.
